Working women often tell me how they are unable to eat in time and so they either land up snacking on whatever is available or stay hungry till they can get to their meals. Both options are not ideal. Mothers of children have expressed how their kids want to eat while studying or at the sports field, making it difficult to provide easily eatable and healthy snack. To help all such families and those with workout needs or simply those who choose a healthy lifestyle, we at Karamele, have developed our own range of Protein Bars. These bars are rolled in the goodness of quinoa, oats, chia seeds and nuts.

Quinoa is not just protein rich but is high in antioxidants, calcium, fiber, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, and vitamins B & E. Complementing the benefits of Quinoa is the higher dietary fiber content of oats, which aids smooth functioning of the gastrointestinal tract and reduces constipation. Not only that, oats are particularly rich in a specific type of fiber called beta-glucan which helps lower levels of bad cholesterol. Lastly, the tiny Chia seeds are rich in Omega-3 fatty acids that help raise HDL cholesterol, the “good” cholesterol, which in turn protect the heart against strokes.

Honey & Sesame (Seeds) Protein Bar

Rich in calcium, iron and fibre along with protein, these bars are an ideal snack for everyone. Children and pregnant women should definitely include these in their diets as they have an increased need of these nutrients.
